I LOVE IT!!!

I saw this inspiration that I found over at THINGS with WINGS. I LOVE their stuff, I would have it all over my house if I could. But, until then here is what I made, inspired by them.

I didn't take step by step pictures, I was just so excited to get started, I forgot!!

I bought a canvas at Hobby Lobby the size that I wanted to use. And cut out 4 in. ( that was the size that worked for my canvas) scrapbook paper. And free handed the lettering. I used some foam paper to get some different texture and height of the words. They had a fun sparkle foam that I used on the word "FUN".

I Mod Podged all the paper on the canvas. This was tricky, it wouldn't stick as well as I wanted. I know there is other kinds of Mod Podge maybe another one would have worked better on canvas. I did get it to stick but I had a lot of wrinkles on the lighter weight paper. Which I used to my benefit and antiqued the wrinkles and made them fit in just perfect. I used my favorite Delta, Burnt Umber Semi Opaque paint and painted the edges and rubbed it on the edges and words to make a worn look.

I was so excited to make it, it turned out so FUN!!!

Here is a sneak peek of my next project..an amazing mirror I snagged for $2 BUCKS!!!! I am a sucker for mirrors!!! You will have to look sideways :o)..what color, what color will it be!!!!!
